I figured it was time to update, now that Christmas is over and all. The holidays went pretty nicely around here; I now have a Wii.
Seriously. Me. With a friggin' Wii. It boggles the mind. This wonderful, magical machine has had me glued to the screen at every passing opportunity, with the latest version of the Harvest Moon franchise, Animal Parade. Don't start on this game unless you want to start living in it for the next few weeks. It's even gotten into my dreams
. You have been warned.
Also, a package of books from Barnes and Noble arrived at my place today. Aside from not being able to open the door (I was on the other side of the house in my pajamas
) it's been wonderful. Finally I can start reading the Dororo series, as well as continuing to follow Buddha, Black Jack and Mushishi. ...I'm a remarkable hikkomori, aren't I?
Anyway, enough about my drab little happenings. My featured artist this time around is ~ktshy
. Hers is a clear, clever voice that we can all relate to; she's a true blue graphic novelist. With her biting and down-to-Earth sense of humor, it's impossible to look at this artist's work without laughing. Visit her gallery at
Various clubs I'm in:
Because contrary to my relative's advice, I never outgrew it.
You can't dislike gijinka, right?
Even though they're weak against their own type.
It's gettin' good now!
Because I can't get "Melt" out of my head to save my life.
Seriously, folks; tracing is not truly art.
Animal Parade=epic win. I'd say more, but I'd start ranting if I did.
Because the only language dorkier than Klingon is Lapine.
I'm a fangirl, it's true.
Has hippie hair.
Needs some serious props for her constant hard work.
Is much, much better at Halo than you are.
Whom I owe the return of an Animatrix DVD. ><;
has been mistaken for a cheerleader.
Makes an eerily good L cosplayer.
